Thank you so so much for our week at Chalet Le Courtil. It was absolutely perfectly located for us and had everything we needed. I've asked everyone to give comments on it and here are some of the responses:
Excellent location for ski bus and nightlife.
Bedrooms were all great.
All the necessary facilities.
The DVD collection went down very well.
Everyone came away saying it was one of the best weeks of their life! The skiing was also great, fantastic weather for it. Chamonix's reputation as 'disjointed' is wholly unfair! It meant each day we skiied a different area and the runs were beautiful. We particularly liked Les Houches and Brevant - with the more advanced skiiers liking Les Grand Montets best.
I'd also like to thank you for organising the airport transfers, it all went very smoothly and you didn't even charge us for the 4am departure! Also the people in the ski hire shop were fantastic and had everyone kitted out in minutes, one of our group even broke their pole, went to pay for a replacement and they said not to worry about it!
Again thank you so much for everything and making it such a fantastic holiday for us all! If any of us return to Chamonix in a large group I'm 100% sure we'll enquire after le courtil!

The chalet was great and we had a lovely time - especially given the great weather and conditions. Location of the chalet was ideal. Thanks for helping us make our holiday such a great success.
Everything was sorted out when we left and we got the transfers back no problems.

Thanks. We all had a fantastic time in Chamonix and in the chalet. The chalet met all our expectations. It's facilities, proximity to town, the slopes etc were all great. One of the girls broke her arm and all the dvds in the tv room were a great help to pass her time! Everything else was great....... You were very nice and informative too.

I wanted to say thank you for providing our group with such a great place to spend Christmas this year. We had a great time and I think it was a Christmas none of us will ever forget. It's especially tough for the non-married military folks at Christmas because we're stationed so far from our families back in the States, so it was nice for all of us to be together and have a lot of fun skiing, etc for the holidays.
I hope that you had a wonderful Christmas as well and a Happy New Year!

Just a quick note to say we had a fabulous time in Chamonix, Le Courtil is certainly in a fantastic setting! I hope everything in the chalet was left to your satisfaction;I think we will be having a return visit as my girls were a little disappointed in not doing the Chatel fantasticable and canyoning. Had an excellent holiday, the chalet is very spacious and fantastically located. I wondered how much you charge during the winter throughout the season? From chatting to people the very end of the season this year was particularly good, I was there at Christmas / New Year just after the enormous snowfall. Hopefully if we can get everyone together again we’ll be back next year. Cheers,Paul
Just to say how very much we all enjoyed our stay in Chamonix last week. The
location couldn't have been better, and the chalet managed to absorb 15
of us very comfortably. I managed some good cross country skiing at Argentiere,
the two first-timers had some excellent lessons, and the serious downhillers
found plenty to keep themselves occupied. The day they chose for the Vallee
Blanche was pretty grim weather - howling winds and whiteouts - but at least
they emerged feeling they'd undergone a real challenge!

Hi , just a quick e-mail to say thank you and that we had a fantastic time skiing in Chamonix over the weekend. All flights, transfers, ski hire etc went according to plan perfectly and we had two and a half days of great skiing (and partying!). Everyone was pleased with the chalet and we found it an ideal base for the ski bus and evening entertainment. Kind Regards Lucy.
Just to say thanks for the chalet. It was ideal and more central than we thought it was. Got some good boarding in, and no injuries from us all.hopefully we left chalet in 'as we found it' condition (one wine glass breakage). cheers. stu

We are getting ready for bed on our last night at Le Krystor. We have had a great time in the apartment and in Chamonix and in France, and I want to thank you, at least for the apartment part, although you may take credit for the other parts, too, if you wish.
We will return keys and clean in the morning. I think everything should be in good order. We will take the last of the trash out and the recycling again to the bins near the bowling alley.
Thanks again for all your notes. One update, however: the ice rink in Megève no longer has bumper cars. They sold them off at the end of last winter. It would be an exaggeration to say we drove all the way to Megève just for the bumper cars, but the kids were disappointed. But they skated instead, and everyone had a great time, so no harm done.
Other than that, we had delightful skiing at Le Tour and Les Grands Montets. If there is a next time for us, we want to try Les Houches and return to Les Grands Montets. We all had fun skiing, and we truly enjoyed Chamonix We were especially thrilled with the location of Le Krystor. We walked to dinner every night, and it was a pleasure to leave the car. And the apartment was very accommodating.

Another successful ski weekend negotiated. Excellent snow and reasonable weather. No broken bones and the only injury is to the liver. The nightlife seems to be picking up again in Chamonix. Anyway thank you for letting us use your chalet. We may be giving you a call next year. Cheers Pete
I am told the snow conditions that prevailed in Chamonix the last week were exceptional and the best conditions for years, this adding to an excellent chalet to stay in made the trip an absolute success with the entire party. The location, one minute’s walk to the high street and all the restaurants was superb. Many Thanks for all your help Best Regards Rob
Sorry for the late correspondence but I thought I would contact you to say what a fantastic holiday we all had. Chamonix is a fantastic place and you own a lovely apartment in which must be one of the best locations in town. The town square was both fantastic and crazy at the same time on new years eve. Just thought I'd drop you a quick mail to say how much we all enjoyed
ourselves in Chamonix. The place was everything and more than we'd
expected...the scenery of Chamonix and The Alps (as well as the view from
our bedroom) was spectacular....I think my family are glad to be home for a
rest now, after such an exhausting, but wonderful, time....summer sledging,
mountain biking, Aguille de Midi'ing, Mer de Glace exploring, white water
rafting, Forest Adventuring in Les Houches (heights have never been my
strong point, and the kids have been teasing me ever since I bottled Part 4
of the course!!) as well as swimming and ice skating..........we even
managed to visit Annecy, hire a boat and swim in the lake, which was well
worth the effort, just as you'd advised.
The appartment was great, and your guide to everything going on was
invaluable. Thank you for allowing us to stay a few extra hours on
Saturday....it made a big difference, as our flight wasn't until 21:30.
Anyway,
hope you have a great summer/winter, and if we ever fancy taking up skiing,
Chamonix will be first on the list.
